Razorpay + Zoho Books is the most common Indian SaaS billing stack. The integration: send GST-compliant Zoho Books invoice → customer clicks Razorpay payment link → payment received → Zoho Books auto-records receipt against invoice. Below is the setup.
Razorpay charges: 2% on domestic Indian cards/UPI, 3% on international cards. GST 18% additional on Razorpay fee. So a ₹10,000 invoice paid via card incurs ₹200 + ₹36 GST = ₹236 fee. UPI is cheapest at 0%-0.5% in many cases.
Yes. Zoho Books generates GST-compliant invoice with IRN (if e-invoicing is enabled for your business). Razorpay handles only the payment leg; the GST + e-invoicing happens entirely in Zoho Books. Customer receives invoice with IRN/QR code and pay link.
